Great Smoky Mountains National Park Wedding

A ceremony in the National Park is possible as well. If you want to have your ceremony within the Park--including the Baptist or Primitive Methodist Churches in Cades Cove--simply contact the Park's Ranger Activities Division (865-436-1266) to request an application for your permit. There are a few additional guidelines to remember: Because the historic buildings within the Park are wooden, lamps and candles are not permitted. Moreover, parking is limited (there are only 6 parking spots by the Baptist Church, for example). Finally, you should be aware that you might not have total privacy, because tourists still have total access to the Park facilities.
